Built like a tank, January 21, 2010 This review is from: Chase-Durer Men's 224.2BE-BRA Trackmaster Pro Chronograph 2nd Edition Stainless Steel and Black Ion-Plated Watch (Watch) Although I didn't buy this watch on Amazon, I like mine so much I felt compelled to write a review.
First of all, this watch is big, heavy, and chunky, with a heavy linked ban and a thick case. All on purpose, and part of the styling, so don't take that description as a complaint. But if larger, heavier watches don't appeal to you, read no further. It has a wonderful, solid feel, with attractive machined screws holding the band together, and a nice carbon fiber weave on the face. The only minor complaint would be that the movable part of the bezel surround for using the tachymeter is plastic, not metal. However, that did allow them to give it a smoked coloring, while still transparent, making it easier to see the numbers. It is also unidirectional, something I think all watches of this type should be. The buttons are substantial, with ribbed collars, including the crown, which is a screw down type.
