The watch is a good size, measures 38.5mm including the crown, ideal for smaller wrists like mine at 6.75 inches. The lugs are brushed steel finish and the bezel is polished. The two finish contrasts each other nicely. The sapphire glass is very clear and does well at reducing reflections. Leather band is slightly darker brown than the Amazon stock photo and the 'orange stitching' is more light brown in person. Initially the leather band is very stiff, will soften up in a few weeks for sure.
Date display is large and very legible. People worried about legibility as the watch has silver movement on a white background should rest easy. Very easy to read the time at a quick glance.
Only negative thing is the second and minute hand alignment which is off by about 1 degree to the dial markers. Not too much but not perfect either.

The band is a little stiff but that might even be considered a plus. The picture on Amazon doesn't show that is says "SWISS MADE" at the bottom of the dial, but it does on mine (tiny font below the 6 but above the 30). Also, the watch's band has a nice feature where the second keeper loop is attached to the band with another loop sewn into the underside stitching. This prevents the loop from riding up the band and keeps it evenly spaced from the first loop. The luminous hands and hour markers are very subtle and refined. This is a well thought out simple but elegant timepiece. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
